Description

The event started with a brief introduction about Ethical Hacking the types of Hacking. Additionally the insights about the various phases of Ethical Hacking Footprinting/Reconnaisance, Scanning, Gaining access, Maintaining access and Clearing tracks was explained. The introduction was given by Rohit Yadav the Secretary of the club.

Following introduction, the workshop was conducted on Footprinting techniques. The workshop was pioneered by Abhishek Patil the Vice-President of the club. Thew workshop show cased footprinting of Websites and Emails. Information about how to gain sensitive data of a website or email, its server, its configuration, IP address, sever’s location, MTAs.

30 students from Computer Engineering and IT department attended the workshop. The event coordinators Ajay Bachate ,Gaurav Chouksay, Kritika and the President Yash Zode and treasurer ensured smooth conduction of the workshop.
